What is a legal center?
Legal Centers enable customers to create and manage public-facing pages where these contracts are published and versioned in a centralized location, serving as the single source of truth for a company’s static legal contents.
How do I set up a legal center?
To set up a legal center, we recommend first gathering the legal documents you want to publish and creating them as document templates in Ironclad CLM. Once each document has been drafted, reviewed, and published, you can create your legal center and add those documents to it. (Publishing a document version does not make it publicly available on its own; it becomes visible to external visitors only after it is included in a legal center.)
From there, you can customize the experience to match your needs, including items like your logo, font and link styling, whether a table of contents appears, whether previous versions are shown, and whether visitors can download documents.
To learn about how to set up a legal center, refer to Create a Legal Center.
Are CLM legal centers the same as Clickwrap legal centers?
No, Clickwrap Legal Centers are the legacy legal-center experience in Ironclad Clickwrap (formerly known as Pactsafe), while CLM Legal Centers are the new CLM-native version designed to give you a more unified experience inside Ironclad CLM.
