This article walks you through how to configure your legal center’s settings. A legal center is a webpage where you can put your company’s most important legal documents in one easy-to-find place. To learn more about legal centers, refer to Legal Centers.

Use Case
At Classics Inc., the legal team uses a legal center to publish and manage public legal documents such as the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in one branded, Ironclad-hosted location where customers, partners, and other counterparties can easily access, review, download, and, if enabled, compare version history.
They configure their legal center to include a unique key at the end of the URL and embed it on other sites using an iframe.

To configure your legal center, you must have already created it. To learn how to create a legal center, refer to Create a Legal Center.
Once you are editing the legal center you want to configure, click the Settings icon next to the legal center’s name. From this window, you can change the key, copy the URL, ask search engines not to index the content, and allow the page to be embedded on another site.
Customize Your Legal Center’s URL
We do not natively support custom domains. However, you can still use your own domain by setting up a reverse proxy. Simply configure your proxy server to point your custom domain to the unique URL provided.
You can customize part of your URL by updating the Key and publishing your changes.
Copy the Legal Center’s URL
To access your legal center, copy the URL and paste it in a separate tab.
Ask Search Engines Not to Index Content
Toggle on Ask search engines not to index content to keep search engines from indexing your content.
Allow the Center to Be Embedded
Toggle on Allow this page to be embedded in iframes on other sites to allow the use of iframes to embed the legal center in other sites.
