This topic will walk you through how to create and manage contracts for Ironclad Clickwrap. This topic is specific to the Classic Clickwrap Experience.

Contracts are the underlying legal documents presented to your signers through embedded groups and Legal Centers.
Contracts can be dynamically populated by data, are automatically versioned as they evolve with your business, and can be presented individually or bundled together using groups.
Create a Contract
- In the left navigation bar, click the Contracts icon.
- Click the Add Contract icons located in the top left or bottom right.
- If you want to upload an existing contract, drag and drop a file into the editor, or click Drop a file or click to upload a contract. PDFs are not supported for Ironclad Clickwrap.
- If you want to create a contract directly in the editor, click Start Editing.
- Hover over the three dots in the top right, then click Upgrade Editor!.
- Edit the contract. The editor is a WISYWG responsive editor and supports most formatting functions.
- If you want to view and edit the HTML behind your contract. Click the Code View icon located in the formatting bar.
- Update the title located in the top left corner of the editor.
- Toggle on the Public setting located in the panel on the right. This setting is required in order to add a contract to a group for your Clickwrap implementation.
- Click Save.
- Click Publish. Your contract is live. Your page will redirect to the Contracts page.
Create a New Version of a Contract
- In the left navigation bar, click the Contracts icon.
- Locate the contract you want to create a new version of, and then click New Version.
- You are redirected to the editor. Edit the contract.
- By default, new versions are major (e.g. Version 2.0). This means that, depending on how your team chooses to implement the contract’s corresponding group, signers will be prompted to re-accept the contract wherever the group is embedded. To change this to a minor version (e.g. Version 2.1) in order to not prompt re-acceptance of the contract, toggle off the Major Version setting located in the panel on the right.
- Click Save.
- Click Publish. The new version of your contract is live and will automatically display to signers wherever the contract’s group is embedded and in the Legal Center.
