Glossary
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Filter | The system or contract property being filtered on, such as Record Type or Stage. |
| Condition | The operator applied to the filter, such as is, is between, or contains. |
| Value(s) | The specific data the condition is evaluated against. A filter can hold multiple values at once, evaluated as an OR across those values. |
| Connector |
The AND/OR relationship between chained filter statements:
|
| Filter Group | A nested set of statements with its own connector, independent of the outer list it's nested in. Requires Advanced mode. |
Default Filters
There are five default filters on your Dashboard:
Search Filter |

All Filters Catalog
The five default filters are shortcuts to commonly used fields. Clicking All filters opens the full catalog, where fields are organized into the following categories:
- Dates
- Monetary & Numeric
- Boolean
- Properties
- Other
- Contract Status
Fields within each category may vary by org configuration. An Additional Properties option below Contract Status expands to show further org-specific custom properties.
Filter Conditions
Conditions are dynamic to the data type of the filter:
| Condition Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Strings |
|
| Numerical Values |
|
| Tuples | Tuples do not have conditions. You select a value directly, without a condition. |
| Dates |
Fixed comparisons:
Also supports relative ranges, see Relative Date Conditions below. |
After you select a condition, you can select the value(s). Begin typing and the autocomplete helps you find a list of matching values, along with the number of contracts that each option maps to.
Relative Date Conditions
In addition to fixed comparisons, Date filters support relative (rolling) ranges:
- Trailing windows (e.g., Last 30 Days, Within 90 Days, 180 days or more): A count of days relative to today, either looking back, within a range, or beyond a threshold.
- Calendar period to date (e.g., Month To Date, Year To Date): From the start of the current period through today.
- Named periods (e.g., This Quarter, Last Year, Next Quarter): A calendar period relative to the current one.
Add Filter Dropdown Options
Clicking Add filter opens a dropdown with the following options:
| Option | Result | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Add filter | Adds another filter statement, connected to the one above it by the list's current connector. | Basic and Advanced mode |
| Add filter group | Nests a group of conditions together, with its own independent connector. | Advanced mode only |
