AI Credits in Ironclad

What are AI Credits?

AI Credits are Ironclad’s shared usage currency for eligible AI agents. Your account has one pooled balance that is shared across users, workflows, and supported agents, so you do not need to manage a separate credit pool for each person or use case.

How do AI credits work in Ironclad?

Each eligible AI agent action uses a set number of AI Credits. The number of credits required depends on the agent and the action. For example, Renewal Agent, Intake Agent, Archive Agent, and future eligible agents may use AI Credits at different rates. AI Credits are designed for specific agent actions. Not every AI-powered feature in Ironclad uses AI Credits.

Once your included credits are depleted, you can continue using AI Agents by either:

• Pre-purchasing AI Credit packs for planned usage
• Using on-demand AI Credits for pay-as-you-go usage

Note: AI Credits are separate from the legacy AI Contract Credits previously associated with some extraction features. If your account uses legacy pricing, your credit experience may differ.
