Summary
This article walks you through how to edit a local condition in Workflow Designer. To learn more about local and global conditions and how they differ, refer to Local and Global Conditions.
Use Case
Classics Inc. uses a local condition in its Vendor Agreement workflow to determine when Legal should review an agreement if the contract is marked as redlined. Later, the legal operations team updates that condition so it also triggers Legal review when certain non-standard terms are selected on the launch form. Because this logic is specific to the Vendor Agreement workflow and does not apply across other contract processes, the team edits the condition locally rather than making it global. This allows Classics Inc. to refine workflow behavior for one specific use case while keeping other workflow configurations unchanged.
