Use Case
Classics Inc. uses Conditions Manager to review its global conditions and notices an older global condition for a legacy approval rule that is no longer needed because the related workflows were retired. Before deleting it, the legal operations team checks whether the condition is still used in any workflow configurations or referenced by other conditions. Once they confirm it is no longer in use, they delete the global condition from Conditions Manager to keep their condition library clean and easier to manage. If the condition were still being used, Classics Inc. would use the usage details to identify where it appears, remove or replace those dependencies first, and then return to delete it safely.

To view, use, and edit local conditions in Workflow Designer, you must have Workflow Designer access. To view and use global conditions, you must have Workflow Designer access. To manage and edit global conditions, you must have administrator access or the group permissions Global Conditions Manager = Yes. |
Delete a Global Condition in Conditions Manager
Before deleting a condition, you must first remove it from all workflow configurations and other conditions. You can confirm whether (and where) it’s used by checking the Usages column. System-generated conditions cannot be deleted.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner, and then select Company Settings > Conditions Manager.
- Click on the condition you want to delete, and then click the three stacked dots in the top right corner > Delete.
- If the condition is not used in any workflow configurations, it is deleted.
- If the condition is used in workflow configurations and conditions, a modal displays showing where the condition is currently used. You must remove the usages of the condition, and then you can repeat the steps above to delete it.
