Release: The following functionality will be live on August 13th. To learn more about the features included in our August release, refer to What's New in Ironclad: August 2026.
Summary
This article walks you through how to populate a table on a Launch Form using spreadsheet data. This includes how to import a spreadsheet, preview a table, clear a table, and import and replace a table with new data.
This functionality is also available in Intake Agent.
Use Case
Classics Inc. uses spreadsheet data to populate a dynamic table on its Launch Form so requesters can add accurate product and pricing details without entering each row manually. For example, the legal operations team adds a dynamic table for Product List to a workflow configuration for Order Form in Workflow Designer that contains columns for Product Name, SKU, Service Tier and Regional Pricing, and published. Now, for companies that keep that information in spreadsheets or systems not yet integrated to Ironclad, when requestors launch a contract request directly from Ironclad, they can populate that Product List from the spreadsheet automatically and quickly. This helps reduces the time to fill out launch forms and reduces manual entry errors.
Prerequisites
| Features | Workflows |
| Permissions | You must have access request a workflow. |
Import Table
If you already manage line-item data in a spreadsheet, you can use that file to populate a table on a Launch Form instead of entering each row manually. Click the Import table button below the section header, and upload a CSV or XLSX file. The header names of your spreadsheet must match the property names in the dynamic table. The maximum upload size is 100MB.
Review the table data, and confirm that everything appears as expected before you click Import. This helps you complete forms more quickly and reduces manual entry errors.
Preview Table
To preview the table after you have populated it, click the Preview table button below the section header. You can see how your imported data populated the table. Up to 50 rows display at a time. Click Load More to view additional rows.
Clear Table
To clear the table of imported information, click the Clear table button below the section header. Confirm the action to delete the imported content.
Replace Table Data
If you’ve already imported spreadsheet data and want to replace it with new data, import a new spreadsheet. Click the Import and replace table button below the section header and upload a CSV or XLSX file. The column headers in your spreadsheet must match the property names in the dynamic table. The maximum upload size is 100MB.
