Summary
This article walks you through how to remind a user to review and approve a document.
Use Case
At Classics Inc., a legal operations manager is waiting on an internal approver to review a vendor agreement before it can move forward. When the approver has not responded, the manager opens the workflow from the Dashboard and resends the review request from the Review section to prompt action. This helps Classics Inc. keep approvals moving, avoid unnecessary delays, and make sure the document reaches the next stage as soon as the required review is complete.
Prerequisites
| Features | Workflow Activity Notifications |
| Permissions | Workflow activity notifications are available to users who have access to a workflow as participants, through workflow access permissions, or by being @mentioned, which grants them access to that single workflow. |
Remind a User to Review or Approve a Document
If you are waiting for legal or another party to review and approve your document, you can send them a reminder.
- In Ironclad, click the Dashboard tab, and then select a workflow.
- In the Review section, locate the person you want to remind and in that same row, click the three stacked dots > Send reminder email. Ironclad sends them an email reminding them to review the document.
