Jurist includes guided prompt experiences designed to help legal professionals craft more effective prompts. These guided flows break down the prompt-building process into clear, contextual steps, so you don’t need to guess what to ask or how to phrase your request.
If you’re not sure how to phrase a request, or you're working on a complex use case, start with a guided prompt.
Guided prompts help you clarify your objectives and ensure your requests are structured the way legal professionals think about them. This results in higher quality outputs, saves time, and supports best practices across your team.
Use Case
At Classics Inc., a contract manager is asked to review a complicated vendor agreement and isn’t sure how to request a detailed risk analysis. Instead of crafting a prompt from scratch, the manager selects a Guided Legal Prompt from the left menu in Jurist. The step-by-step flow walks them through framing the issue, identifying key risks, and specifying the type of analysis needed. The manager completes the guided prompt, receives a tailored risk analysis, and saves the prompt to the library for use on future agreements.

Use Guided Prompting
To use a guided prompt, click on one of the Guided Legal Prompts located on the left. You’ll see steps and explanations for crafting effective prompts tailored to your objectives. Instead of guessing at what the right questions are or how to phrase them, you’ll have clear, structured guidance that helps you frame issues the way other legal professionals think about them.
Save a Guided Prompt to the Prompt Library
After you use a guided prompt and Jurist begins generating a response, you can save that prompt to your prompt library for future use.
To save a guided prompt, hover over the sent prompt in the chat window on the left and click the three stacked dots > Save prompt to your library.
In the Save Prompt modal, you can update the name and description, edit the prompt text, and choose whether to include it in your company-wide prompts. When finished, click Save. The prompt is then added to your prompt library.
