This article provides information on Ironclad Academy updates launching on August 1, 2025 and August 29, 2025.
On August 1, 2025, Ironclad is launching some notable updates to Ironclad Academy, including:
- New and updated content on key topics like Workflow Designer, Entities, Ironclad AI, and more
- New learning paths and skills verified badges you can earn by completing them
- Introduction of new Topic Expert badges you can earn by completing content of specific topics
- Restructuring and retirement of old learning paths and content to be replaced by new content
Additionally, On August 29, 2025, Ironclad is launching Achievement badges on Ironclad Academy.

New and Updated Content
On August 1, new and updated content (courses, videos, etc.) will launch for the following topics and features:
- Workflow Designer
- Entities
- Ironclad AI
- Jurist
- Contract migration
- Data management
- Obligation management
- Coupa integration
New and updated content will be indicated as such with ribbons in the Content Catalog on Academy. See example below of “NEW” content:
Additionally two new Collections will launch, providing an easy way to access all Academy content related to a single topic:
- Sales Contracting
- Procurement Contracting
New Learning Paths and Skills Verified Badges
On August 1, the following new learning paths will launch:
Each of these learning paths will have an associated assessment that you must pass in order to earn a Skills Verified badge.
Upon earning a Skills Verified badge, you will receive an email from Credly with the option to accept the badge. You can track all the Skills Verified badges you have earned on your Learner Dashboard.
Introducing Topic Expert Badges
You now earn Topic Expert badges when you complete all of the content of a particular category. Completion of an assessment is not required.
The following Topic Expert badges will launch on August 1, 2025:
In order to earn a Topic Expert badge, you must complete all of the qualifying content associated with that badge. Each piece of content is worth 100 or 200 points, depending on its type:
- Live trainings and courses are worth 200 points.
- Microlearning, videos, reference guides, and recordings are worth 100 points.
You will earn the applicable Topic Expert badge when you reach the required point total for it, which is indicated on your Learner Dashboard. Prior to earning a Topic Expert badge, it will appear “grayed out” on the Dashboard. Once you earn the badge, it will no longer be grayed out.

Introducing Achievement Badges (Launching August 29, 2025)
You now earn Achievement badges when you complete content. Each content item is worth 10 points. This includes all content types, except for learning paths. The following Achievement badges will launch on August 29, 2025:
You will earn Achievement badges when you reach the required point totals for them, which is indicated on your Learner Dashboard. Prior to earning an Achievement badge, it will appear “grayed out” on the Dashboard. Once you earn the badge, it will no longer be grayed out.

Existing Learning Path Changes and Retirement
To accommodate the release of new learning paths, on August 1, the following learning paths will be retired. Refer to the table below for the list of retiring paths and their recommended equivalent to enroll in starting on August 1-onward:

NOTE
Ironclad Admins who have completed the Ironclad CLM Core Administration learning path are strongly encouraged to enroll in the new Admin Onboarding learning path. This new path will have more, updated content that will support the required knowledge and skills to serve as your organization’s Ironclad Admin.
Additional Learning Path and Badge Changes
- Before August 1, Ironclad for Contract Owners was a standalone course, and upon its completion, learners would earn the Ironclad Contract Owner Skills Verified badge. With this launch, the Ironclad for Contract Owners course will be absorbed into a new Workflow Owner learning path, which will include an assessment in order to earn the Skills Verified badge.
- The Implementation Readiness badge will no longer be available to earn. Instead, the Implementation Readiness course will be absorbed into the new Admin Onboarding learning path, which will also include an assessment in order to earn the new Skills Verified badge.
