This article will walk you through how to grant users admin level control over specific parts of Ironclad.
The admin group has access to all records and workflows, and has full control over the Ironclad product. There may be instances where you want to grant a user control over some parts of Ironclad CLM, with limited access to records and workflows. These permissions allow you to grant admin level control over specific parts of Ironclad.
NOTE
Enabling these permissions for a group will elevate any users to an Admin seat type.
There are currently five permissions that grant different levels of admin abilities:

Admin access is only determined for workflows that are in Published state.

Grant Admin Level Permissions to a Group
- Click on your profile icon located in the top right corner of Ironclad. Navigate to Company Settings > Users and Groups > Groups.
- Select the group you wish to add a permission to, and then click Edit Group.
- If you want the users in this group to have the ability to manage users and groups, select Yes for the Users & Groups Administration field. To learn more about the Users & Groups Administration permission, refer to the table above.
- If you want the users in this group to have the ability to manage contracts and workflows, in the Workflow Management field, select the workflows you want the group to have admin ability to manage. To learn more about the Workflow Management permission, refer to the table above.
Assign a User Workflow Designer Permissions
You can give users outside of the Administrator group access to edit and update workflows without giving them system-wide Admin privileges.
- Click on your profile icon located in the top right corner of Ironclad. Navigate to Company Settings > Users and Groups > Groups.
- Click on the group you want to give Workflow Designer access, and then click Edit Group.
- Locate the Workflow Designer dropdown and select one of the following:
- If you want the user to access all workflow configurations, select Ability to create and edit all workflow configurations.
- If you want your user to only access specific workflows, select Ability to view and edit specific workflow configurations.
