This topic details our best practices and recommendations for deleting users with pending approvals.
You can delete users from Ironclad, even if they have pending approvals. We recommend reassigning the approvals to another approver before deleting the user.
- Use dashboard filters to search for the approver you want to delete. All in progress workflows for the specified approver are displayed.
- Bulk reassign the approver’s workflows to another user.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner, and then select Company Settings > Users & Groups > Users.
- Remove the user. In the future, if you find that additional workflows are assigned to the approver after they are removed, this is because the user was a conditional approver and was not yet triggered for the workflow before you removed the user.
