Use Contract Family Agent to organize related contracts into a family tree for an entity. The agent proposes parent, child, amendment, and other relationships, then routes uncertain results to the Verification Queue for human review.
Use Case
Use Contract Family Agent when related agreements are difficult or time-consuming to connect manually. For example, run the agent for an entity with a Master Service Agreement (MSA), multiple Statements of Work (SOWs), and amendments to create a structured view of the full relationship.

Use Contract Family Agent
To run Contract Family Agent:
- In the Entities workspace, open the detail page for the entity whose contracts you want to organize.
- Select Update contract family in the upper-right corner.
- Under Contracts to update, select one of the following options:
- Update entire family: Updates the full family tree.
- Update with only new contracts: Preserves the current family tree and adds only new contracts.
- From the Relationship dropdown, select the relationship type available in your instance (Customer, Vendor, or Partner).
- Select Update.
After the run, the entity’s Contracts view displays the proposed family as a tree with a preview of each relationship.
After a family is created, the Contract Family pill appears on Dashboard and Workflow pages and links to the hierarchy from those views.
