This article goes over how to set up workflow sync, which pulls vendor details from NetSuite into Ironclad workflow launch forms. After a user selects a vendor, all mapped attributes populate automatically.
Use Case
A procurement specialist launches a vendor renewal in Ironclad and selects the vendor from NetSuite instead of retyping their details. The launch form fills in with the vendor information already on file, so the contract request starts from the system of record rather than from memory.

Map workflow properties to NetSuite
Workflow sync maps individual workflow properties to their NetSuite equivalents. Repeat this configuration for each workflow you want to pull NetSuite data into.
- In Ironclad, navigate to Company Settings > Integrations > NetSuite.
- Click the Workflows tab.
- Click +Add Workflow Configuration.
- Select the workflow you want to integrate with NetSuite.
- Click +Add Attribute to select workflow properties to map to NetSuite.
- Select the corresponding NetSuite property.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all desired workflow properties are mapped.
- Click Save.
Once configured, users can select Pull from NetSuite when launching a workflow. After choosing a vendor, every mapped property populates on the launch form.
Note:
The integration role created in Step 3 of Set Up NetSuite Integration needs Custom Record: Ironclad Contract (Full) permission. If you created that role before this record type existed, return to the role and add the permission now.
