Summary

This article walks you through how to add an existing property.

 

Use Case

At Classics Inc., a legal operations user adds the existing Contract Value property to a new workflow configuration to keep contract data consistent across workflows. In Workflow Designer, the user opens Properties and Conditions, selects Property from the add menu, chooses Contract Value under Use existing, and saves.

Add an Existing Property

  1. Log into your Ironclad account.
  2. Click the Workflow Designer tab.
  3. Select the workflow configuration you’re updating.
  4. Click the Properties and Conditions tab in the Attributes panel on the left.
  5. Click the plus icon, and select Property under Add.
  6. Under USE EXISTING, click the property you want to add.
    • Note: You can see how many workflow configurations a property is used in. Unpublished configurations don’t count towards this value. 
  7. Click the Save button in the Property details panel.
You should now see the property included in the list of used properties.
