Summary

This article walks you through how to remove a property.

 

Use Case

At Classics Inc., a legal operations user removes a property from a workflow configuration because it no longer applies, while keeping it available in the company’s data schema and other workflows. In Workflow Designer, the user opens the Properties and Conditions tab, selects Remove property from the property’s menu, and saves the configuration.

Permissions Admins or users with Workflow Designer editing permissions can remove a property from a workflow.
 

Remove a Property

Removing a property from a workflow configuration won’t delete it from your company’s data schema. You’ll still be able to use the removed property in other workflow configurations.
To remove a property:
  1. Log into your Ironclad account.
  2. Click the Workflow Designer tab.
  3. Select the workflow configuration you’re updating.
  4. Click the Properties and Conditions tab in the Attributes panel on the left.
  5. Hover over the property you want to edit and click the vertical ellipsis to the right.
  6. Click Remove property from the dropdown menu.
  7. Click Save in the top right corner of the Workflow Designer.
