What is a certificate of completion?
A certificate of completion is a record that confirms a signature process is finished and captures the audit details for it. It typically includes information like who signed, when they signed, and the event history tied to the signed packet. In short, it’s the compliance proof that the agreement was completed.
Ironclad Signature and Certificates of Completion
Certificates of completion are included with completed Ironclad Signature packets by default. This setting cannot be changed.
Enable Certificates of Completion for DocuSign, AdobeSign, and DropBox Sign
- If you are using DropBox Sign, you must enable Audit trail within Dropbox Sign itself.
- In Ironclad, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner. Click Company Settings > Integrations > Manage eSignature accounts.
- Toggle on Include Certificate of Completion in the signed packet.
Certificates of completion will now be included in any signed packets moving forward.
