Summary
This article walks you through how to enable privacy-focused emails.
Privacy-focused emails help you keep sensitive contract information out of email inboxes while still notifying users when action is required.
Use Case
At Classics Inc., a legal operations manager turns on privacy-focused emails so approvers, reviewers, and other stakeholders still receive notifications when work needs attention without exposing sensitive contract details in their inboxes. Instead of seeing workflow titles, comments, attachments, or other customer-entered data in email, recipients get a short notification and sign in to Ironclad to view the full details, which helps Classics Inc. reduce inbox exposure while keeping contract work moving.
Prerequisites

Enable Privacy-Focused Emails
When privacy-focused emails are enabled, notification emails do not include customer-entered data, workflow titles, document comments, or contract attachments. Instead, recipients receive a short, generic summary and a secure link that prompts them to sign in to Ironclad and view the full details.
