Focused Verification is a dedicated workspace that helps reviewers quickly review and resolve metadata properties that end users have flagged as potentially incorrect. Instead of scanning every extracted field, reviewers work through a focused queue of flags, with the relevant document context opened automatically. Reviewers can access this queue at any time by clicking the Focused Verification banner that will appear on the Dashboard when an issue is flagged for review.
Use Case
Use Focused Verification when:
- End users are flagging questionable metadata on records (for example, renewal dates, governing law, or amounts).
- You need a single place to review and fix issues across many records, without running full verification on all AI extractions.
Permissions
| Features | Extract Metadata |
| Permissions | Admins must grant group permission for reviewers to be able to access the focused verification workspace. To view and resolve flagged properties, reviewers must have edit access to all relevant record types. Enabling property flags for a reviewer group alone does not grant the access required to review flagged properties. |
Configure Focused Verification Permissions
Enable/Access: Confirm that your company is entitled to both Smart Import and Extract Metadata.
As an admin, you can create a new group of users with permission to review flagged properties in the Focused Verification workspace, or you can enable this permission for an existing group.
To grant access for focused verification:
- In Ironclad, click the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Navigate to Company Settings > Groups.
- Select the Group you want to grant access to.
- Click Configure Group in the top right corner.
- Under General Permissions:
- Locate Property Flags and select Yes from the dropdown.
- Locate Repository and Entities field, select View, edit, and create access to all Record types and Entity types (current and future).
- Locate Property Flags and select Yes from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
Whenever a user flags an issue for review, reviewers will be able to click the Review button that appears on the Focused Verification banner to open the review queue.
