Ironclad Administrators can manage and invite new team members to collaborate with your team on Ironclad. Ironclad supports new user invitations through existing SCIM, SSO, SAML, Google Sign-In integrations or directly via the Ironclad app.

Note: Password login is an option for new invitations only if no other sign-in integration has been set up.
If your Ironclad Account has an SSO, SAML, or Google Sign-In integration configured, all new user invites will default to that invitation method for all new users. Please ensure that all team members that are to be invited to Ironclad are provisioned and added to those services prior to proceeding below. Learn More.
Invite users on Ironclad
As an Ironclad Administrator, access the Users & Groups page under Company Settings to add new team members.
- Click on the 'Invite Users' button near the search bar.
- Start typing or copy/paste a list of comma-separated, email addresses to invite new team members to Ironclad.
Note: For security reasons, new users from unknown email addresses will be prohibited from being added to your Ironclad account without prior authorization. Please contact Support (email@example.com) for assistance.
Add existing Groups to new invitations by selecting any groups so new users can get started with access to the workflows and documents required in their work. If you have any questions about your Groups and permissions associated with each group, please review the Groups page to review existing access and permissions before adding new users to a Group.
Tip: If you’d like to create a new group for a team, please create new Groups prior to inviting users to Ironclad.
Click ‘Invite Users’ to send an email invitation notification to all new users
Once your invitations are successfully sent, you can review the User & Groups page
for new user account status and view pending invitations.
Frequently Asked Questions
I want to add my company logo to new user email invitations. How can I upload or update my logo on my Ironclad Account?
As an Ironclad Administrator, click on the Company Profile page, under Company Settings to update or upload a new logo file. We ask that a high-resolution logo (PNG file) is added with a maximum width of 200 pixels.
Can I remove or deactivate Ironclad users without contacting Ironclad?
For SCIM, SSO, SAML, and Google Sign-in integrations, you can deauthorize users through the integration service. For users that do not have an integration service configured with Ironclad, you will need to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to remove users from Ironclad until further notice.
Can I skip sending an email notification when a new user is invited?
