Private Messages
Only available for DocuSign and AdobeSign.
DocuSign customers: no action required to utilize.
AdobeSign customers: please make sure that Private Messages to Recipients is enabled under your account Send Settings.
When sending out a signature packet, you can create private messages to be sent to any of the signers. Create your private message after selecting ‘Prepare Signature Packet’ and click the envelope icon next to a signers name. Here you can add your message in the text box, and will be able to view a preview of the generic signature request message. After adding your message, click ‘Save Message’ and you can view the message before sending it out for signature.
Private messages have a character limit of 1000 characters, and the preview for messages will only display up to 250 characters.
The message will also be tracked in the activity feed when initially sent out for signature, and once the recipient views the message.
Note: Content of private messages will be saved even when a signature request is canceled or a signature packet is reset.
Add CC Recipient on eSignature Email
The Signature Coordinator can add CC recipients to your Signers’ request email. These recipients will be able to view and follow the progress of the signature request from each workflow. Underneath the Signers section click “Add eSignature CCs” to begin adding recipients.
Once in the eSignature CCs section, add recipients by typing their email directly or search for users.
Note: CC Recipients will be notified when the Signature Packet is sent and all signatures are collected. All signature providers will attach the fully executed agreement to CC Recipients as well. If using an internal user as a CC Recipient, this will not give workflow access or edit capabilities.
