Form Builder: When you add a new question to your form, you’ll need to choose what type of question you would like it to be. Below, find a brief description of each type and some examples of its use cases.

Create Optional Questions
Toggle on or off the 'Required' field for most Form Field Types. Counterparty Name, Signer Names, and Emails and Paper Source form field questions are excluded from this feature.
Note:If optional fields are used in a condition, then the condition will NOT be triggered.
Set Default Values for Form Field Types (NEW)
This is not supported for Related Record or File Attachment Form Field Types. However, you can include a default value for all other Form Field Types. The way that these fields would be completed on the Launch Form, the default value can be added the same way in the Form Builder which can then be adjusted at Launch Form.
Short Response
Short response form inputs are single line text inputs and are appropriate when you’d like a user to type in shorter free-form text.

Paragraph
Paragraph form inputs are multi-line inputs and are appropriate when you’d like a user to type in longer text, such as descriptions or additional terms.

Dropdown
Use dropdown form inputs to create a single select dropdown menu. Specify and change the options a user can select from by using the trash and + controls. You can build conditions based on the selected answer to a dropdown question.

Multiple Choice
Use multiple choice form inputs to create a single select radio option. Specify and change the options a user can select from by using the trash and + controls. You can build conditions based on the selected answer to a multiple choice question.

Multiple Selection
You can also toggle the question to allow a user to select all that apply using the “Allow multiple selections” toggle. Use this when you’d like a user to select zero, one, or many of the options. If tagged in the document, answers to these questions will render as a comma-separated list of all the selected options. You can build conditions based on if the selected answers include a specific option.

Use an email form input to collect email an email address from the user. This includes validation that will not allow the user to submit the form if the email is invalid.

Address
Use an address field to collect addresses from the user. This includes validation that will not allow the user to submit the form if the address is missing required fields (ie. Country). You can choose how you would like the address formatted if it is tagged in the document.

The user filling out the Address field will also be able to use our Auto-Complete field when adding addresses like so:
Number
Use a number field to collect numerical values from the user. This includes validation that will not allow non-numeric values. You can build conditions based on the number value entered.

Number to Words Filter
After setting up your Number form field type question, you can adjust the formatting of how that number will appear in your document. When tagged in the document, select the down arrow next to the tag, and select your formatting preference. This will automatically convert the inputted number in the Launch Form to your selected format. For example, 100 can be adjusted to one hundred or 100th.
Note: The default setting for the format will be the numerical value.
Monetary
Use a monetary form input to collect monetary information from the user. The user will be allowed to select the currency and enter the value. You can build conditions based on the selected currency and monetary amount entered.
Additionally, set currency limitations for users. This means you set the potential currency options they can select when inputting this information. Click ‘Template currency settings,’ toggle on “Set specific currencies”, then select the currencies from the dropdown.

Date
Use a date input to collect a date from the user. The user will be able to type in a date or select from a date picker. You can build conditions based on the selected date.
After tagging the document will the Date field, you can use the dropdown arrow to change the date formatting option:

File Attachment
Use a file attachment form input to collect additional files from the user. It allows uploads of .doc, .docx, and .pdf files.
The file will be uploaded to cloud storage at the path entered on the settings tab under “Uploads”.
The file will also be attached to the contract record when the workflow is Archived.
Here’s how it looks in the launch form:
Yes/No
Select a Yes/No to be searchable as such in the Repository. This is a pre-set multiple-choice question, where the selections are not editable.
The record property type for these questions will be Yes/No and can be added as additional record properties to show up at Archive only. This is the key difference between selecting the Yes/No form field type, instead of creating a Yes/No multiple-choice option field.
