Counterparty Form Defined
A counterparty form gives you the ability to send a request to your Counterparty to fill out specific details for the contract such as their Legal Entity Name, Company Address, and/or Signer Information.
To Add a Counterparty form, go to the Form Editor and select the “Counterparty Form” button in the toolbar.
This will create a second form underneath your Launch Form for the Counterparty to fill out.
Select Add question to Form,
Note: You know have the option to CC Owner/Requester on a Counterparty Form. The default is 'No,' and you can use the toggle to 'Yes' if you would like the Owner/Requester to be CC'd on the form.
OR
Select a question from your Launch Form, select Move question into. Then select Counterparty form.
The Counterparty form can only be sent to an email address type field in the Launch Form. To select which email address in your Launch form to send the Counterparty form to, click on the
“Select field” pill next to the “To” at the top of the Counterparty Form. This will display a list of email address fields that are present in your Launch Form for you to select from.
Additionally, you can decide when to send the form based on conditions that exist within your contract.
Pro-Tip:
Add an email type question to your launch form and ask the question “Who is your point of contact at the Counterparty?” Include help text underneath to let them know that Ironclad will collect Agreement information from this point of contact.
