This option on the Review and Change page will allow modifications to the agreement details previously submitted in the launch form. Once your changes have been made, add a comment about the edits and click "Update Information" to save.
This feature allows for changes made to the contents of the document not entered in the launch form fields. You can download the document, edit, and then upload the new version of the agreement or change to a new file type during the Review step of the workflow.
Note: For templatized workflows, the Edit Info tool will no longer update the document after you upload a new version. Each workflow template has specific tags that are placed in the document to be completed at the Launch Form and then adjusted using Edit Information. The Edit Info feature on each workflow will only update information in the document when it is the generated document from Ironclad. When these tags are no longer available, such as when a document is uploaded or Editor is used, the sync between Edit info and the contract will no longer occur. This is also the case when 3rd-Party documents are uploaded, which means that Edit Info will only be available to adjust metadata fields rather than content within the document.
Select the file that you want to upload into the workflow, which can be .docx, .doc or PDF. This file extension can be different from the file type of the original template or uploaded document.
More information regarding the Update Document Modal can be found here: https://support.ironcladapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053667871-Multiple-Document-Uploads-in-the-Review-Step.
Note: Version comparison is only available on .doc or .docx in the document viewer.
