Overview
If you need to update your users’ email addresses due to a rebrand or domain change, Ironclad Support can help. First, you’ll prepare a list of users with their current and new emails, then submit it to Ironclad Support. After you submit a Support ticket, Ironclad Support will reach out to you. The team will work with you to update those emails within your Ironclad environment.
Warning: You must wait for Support to complete the updates before making any changes in your Identity Provider (IdP). Making changes before Support updates the emails will result in duplicate users.
Use Case
Classics, Inc. recently updated its company domain from @classicsinc.com to @classics.com as part of a rebrand. To ensure users retained access to their workflows and records, the Classics administrator created a spreadsheet listing each user’s current and new email address, then submitted it to Ironclad Support. The Support team worked directly with Classics to update all user emails in their Ironclad environment. Once completed, the administrator updated the new domain in their Identity Provider, ensuring all users could log in seamlessly with their new email addresses.
