Which Time Zone Standard Does Ironclad Use?
Ironclad uses Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) as the standard for storing and displaying date and time fields on the Dashboard, in records, and in system logs. By standardizing on UTC, we ensure that all users, regardless of their local time zone, see a consistent and unified reference for all date and time data. Using a single global standard helps prevent discrepancies when teams operate across multiple regions or time zones.
All users will see timestamps uniformly displayed in UTC across Ironclad CLM. This provides clarity and consistency in interpreting activity history, reporting, and auditing workflows.
UTC in System Logging
UTC is also the standard for all system logging events in Ironclad. This means all logs and system records maintain consistent timestamps, which is especially important when reviewing historical actions or generating reports.
