Because of a recent Salesforce change, users are not able to authorize an uninstalled Connected App by default. This change was made by Salesforce due to a security concern. The steps below outline how an admin can install the Connected App, allowing other users to authorize it. Existing users won't need to relink their Salesforce and Ironclad accounts.
Use Case
At Classics Inc., the sales operations team is setting up the Ironclad Salesforce Integration for a new business unit. When a user attempts to link Salesforce with Ironclad, they encounter an OAuth authorization error.
The Salesforce admin follows the documented steps to install the Ironclad Connected App in Salesforce, which allows the team to successfully authorize the connection.
