This article will walk you through how to use the Dependency Visualizer in Workflow Designer.
The Dependency Visualizer in Workflow Designer enables you to search for a property and visualize the properties, conditions, roles, and form questions it depends on. This helps you to understand complex workflow configurations, address errors, and make/test changes.
- Click on the Workflow Designer tab and select the workflow configuration you want to modify.
- Click the three stacked dots located in the top right corner, and then click Open Dependency Visualizer.
- Search for the property you want to visualize. The visualizer will display the properties, conditions, roles, and form questions it depends on.
- You can click and drag on the individual nodes to visually rearrange them. Nodes are color coordinated as follows:
- Blue: Roles
- Purple: Conditions
- Gray: Form Questions
- Green: Properties
- To zoom in or out, click the plus and minus icons in the toolbar located at the bottom left. To fit the object tree to fill the frame, click the frame icon in the toolbar located at the bottom left.
- To lock the object tree so you can no longer reposition the nodes, click the lock icon in the toolbar located at the bottom left.
