This article will provide you with an overview of Ironclad translation.
Enable CLM Translation
This feature must be enabled by an admin. To do this, click on your profile icon located in the top right corner of Ironclad. Navigate to Company Settings > Settings. Select CLM Translation and click Save.
Supported Languages
Currently, we offer a translated Ironclad CLM experience for contract requestors in the following languages:
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- French
- French Canadian
- Japanese
- Spanish
- German
- Simplified Chinese
Only the contract requestor experience is translated at this time. As this is focused on translation for your requesters, admins, and other power users, they will see a mix of English and the selected other language.
User Vs Company Preferred Language
A user‘s language can be set by the user or the admin. The user’s preferred language is set by the locale detected by the user’s browser. If the language detected is not supported, Ironclad will default to English (US).
The user can also set their preferred language in their Ironclad Personal Profile. The preferred language only applies to the user’s personal experience and emails. All admin features will not be impacted.
Admins can also set the company preferred language in the Company Profile. The language selected will translate users' invitation emails.
