This article will address how to troubleshoot blocking signature tags in Ironclad.
If your signature tags appear to be blocked when you go to sign a document, your counterparty may be an Ironclad user as well and placed signature tags of their own. To verify that this is the problem:
- assess whether the tags for your company display as counterparty tags
- verify whether you can move or edit the tags
If your tags display as counterparty tags and you cannot move/edit the tags, your counterparty is likely an Ironclad user and has placed their own tags. We recommend that you connect with your counterparty and determine which workflow you would like work off of. Whichever party that chooses to work on the counterparty’s workflow will need to upload the completed contract directly to the Repository when the workflow is complete.
In future workflows, if you are aware that your counterparty is an Ironclad user before the Sign step, you or your counterparty can invite one another to collaborate on a single workflow. To learn more, refer to Invite Counterparties to Ironclad.
