This topic will walk you through how to manage Clickwrap templates. This includes how to create a template, view a template in HTML, and upload a new version of your template.
This topic is specific to the New Clickwrap Experience. If you are using the Classic Clickwrap Experience, refer to the Classic Clickwrap Experience documentation.
Templates are the underlying documents that you use to build Clickwrap Groups. You can bundle contracts or display them individually at an embedded Clickwrap Location.

- In the top navigation bar, click Templates.
- Click Create New located in the top right.
- If you want to upload an existing contract, drag and drop a file into the editor, or click Drop a file or click to upload a contract.
- If you want to create a contract directly in the editor, click Start Editing.
- Edit the template. The editor is a WISYWG responsive editor and supports most formatting functions.
- The editor supports the font families shown below. If you import a Word document, copy HTML from elsewhere, or use in-line CSS in the code view of the template to add a new font, this font will render in the HTML but will be reverted to our default font in the PDF download of the template.

Make a Template Public
Making a template public is different from publishing a template. When you publish a template, you only lock in a version of the template. Any changes you make after you publish requires a new version and publish. When you make a template public, it is added to your legal center, made available to add to groups, and is publicly available via a URL.
If you make a template public when it is still in Draft status, it won't appear in your legal center until you publish it. You must make a template public before you can use it in group.
- Click Templates.
- Select the template you want to make public.
- Click Edit located in the top right corner.
- In the Properties panel on the right, toggle on the Public setting.
- Click Save. The template is made public.
Delete a Template
You can delete a template whether it’s in Draft or Published status. If you delete a draft version of a published template, the published template is not deleted. If you delete a published template, the entire template and its associated drafts are deleted. The template is removed from any groups and the associated signer activity is also deleted.
- Click Templates.
- Select the template you want to delete. The template can be in a Draft or Published status.
- Click Edit located in the top right corner.
- Click the three horizontal dots, and then click Delete. A confirmation window displays. Make sure to read this window carefully to verify whether you are deleting a draft or an entire template.
