This article will provide you with a basic understanding of Clickwrap templates.
Templates are the underlying legal documents presented to your Counterparties through embedded Clickwrap Locations and Legal Centers. Templates can be dynamically populated by data, are automatically versioned as they evolve with your business, and can be presented individually or bundled together using Clickwrap Groups.
With templates, you can create, manage, update, and deploy the legal terms powering your business in one central place without ever needing to wait for IT ticket queues or manual updates from engineering business partners.
Filter Templates
You can filter your Templates on the Template tab by Classification, Tags, Countries, or Locales.
If you apply a filtered view, it remains until you clear it. To view archived templates, select Show archived in the top right corner.
Template Preview
When you click on a template, you are taken to the template preview where you can view the template and key metadata. You can also take actions like editing the template's metadata and publishing or editing the current template itself.
For templates in draft, you can also preview what the template would look like in any of your legal centers.
Template Editor
The Clickwrap editor is an HTML native editor, which means for the majority of embedded Clickwraps—which are web-based—you can style your contracts leveraging all the tools of HTML + CSS: mobile responsiveness, use your existing website stylesheets to brand your contracts, etc.
While the content displays in a visual editor by default, you can also view the code if you prefer to edit the HTML/CSS. You can insert tokens to power dynamic contracts by typing {{ and selecting an existing token or creating a new one.
