This topic will walk you through how to manage snapshots. This includes capturing and uploading snapshots, viewing existing snapshots, downloading a snapshot or snapshot record, marking snapshots as unfit for evidence, and more.
Snapshots enable you to keep track of the screens your customers encounter when accepting agreements embedded in your website.
When a counterparty accepts your embedded agreement, their acceptance can be associated with the Snapshot captured closest to the time of acceptance.
Snapshots can be manually uploaded via the web application or API, or automatically captured using Ironclad.

Later that week, a legal member notices the incorrect screenshot was uploaded. They upload the correct screenshot, back date it to the correct day, and mark the original screenshot invalid. The counterparty’s acceptance remains unchanged, but if the record is downloaded it will include the corrected screenshot.
