Why isn't my Contract showing up when I go to Send a Signature Request?
If you are trying to send a contract and it isn’t showing up, there is a chance it may not be published yet.
Return to the menu and select “My Contracts” to see every contract you have created. Did you publish the contract that won’t appear? Double check and then try sending again.
There are also several views in which you can browse your contracts. You can look at “My Contract’s,” “Everyone’s Contracts” or “Others’ Contracts.” Perhaps the contract you are looking for is in a different view than the one you have selected.
How do I assign different signature blocks to different Signers?
Once you’ve added your signature blocks to your contract, you’ll be able to assign designated signature blocks to the appropriate signers when requesting a signature. What are “Contract Fields?”
Once you’ve uploaded or chosen a contract to send, and signers have been added, choose the “FIELDS” tab on the navigation bar on the right side of the page. The fields that you have added during the creation process or during revisions will populate. Click the “Assign Field” button next to the designated field and select the specified signer in the drop-down menu. All fields will need to be assigned before sending a contract for signature.
How do I add a signature line to my Contract?
Adding a signature line in PactSafe only takes a few clicks!
If using the PactSafe editor:
Click the plus sign (to the right of whichever line you are working on) in the editor to insert a field (the pencil symbol). Drop down the selections under “type” and make sure to pick “signature.” When using the editor, your signature field will be placed inline with your text by way of your cursor placement in the contract.
If uploading a PDF:
Clicking anywhere in the PDF brings up the “Text,” “Signature,” and “Checkbox” field options. Select “signature” and a signature field box will appear. Move and size the signature field manually as needed. Don’t forget to label the signature in the right hand side menu!
