This topic will walk you through how to customize emails for public workflows and workflows with Click-to-Accept.
The email customization settings for public workflows and workflows with Click-to-Accept are spread across both Workflow Designer in Ironclad CLM and Ironclad Clickwrap.
Add Your Logo, Primary Color, and Secondary Color
The addition of your company logo, primary color, and secondary color to your brand settings can alter your email templates from an Ironclad-branded default view to your company’s brand for a seamless experience for your counterparties.

- Navigate to app.pactsafe.com and login with your Clickwrap user credentials to access the Clickwrap Classic Experience.
- If you are navigating directly from the Clickwrap New Experience (clickwrap.pactsafe.com), select your user icon in the top right corner, then select Classic Settings. This will open a new tab of the Clickwrap Classic Experience.
- Click your user icon in the bottom left corner, then click Settings.
- Click Branding.
- Upload your company logo. Add the HEX codes for your primary and secondary colors.
- Click Update in the top right corner.
Change the Integration User’s Name to Your Company Name in Emails
By default, the emails sent to counterparties from a public workflow or a workflow with Click-to-Accept include the CLM and Clickwrap integration user’s first and last name.
If you would like to change the integration user’s name to your company name, continue reading below.
Ironclad Support’s assistance is required to enable this type of customization. In order to request additional customization capabilities such as replacing the integration user’s name with your company name, submit a request with our Support Team with the following information:
- Description of your request: Customize email template for Public Workflows and Workflows with Click-to-Accept.
- Your Clickwrap Site ID: This can be found in the Classic Experience Settings underneath Site Settings.
After Ironclad Support completes your request to enable heavier customization, follow the steps below to replace the integration user’s name with your company name:
Note: Any changes applied to email templates will affect all emails related to Public Workflows and Workflows with Click-to-Accept in your Ironclad account.
- Navigate to app.pactsafe.com and login with your Clickwrap user credentials to access the Clickwrap Classic Experience.
- If you are navigating directly from the Clickwrap New Experience (clickwrap.pactsafe.com), click your user icon in the top right corner, then select Classic Settings. This will open a new tab of the Clickwrap Classic Experience.
- Click your user icon in the bottom left corner, and then click Settings.
- Click Emails.
- Click Send Signature Request. This will take you to the HTML and a preview of the Send Signature Request email template, which is the email sent to counterparties upon launch of public workflows and workflows with Click-to-Accept.
- In the HTML modal, scroll to line 26.
- Replace {{{sender_name}}} with your company name

After replacement: - In the top right corner, click Save and Publish. Click Publish in the pop-up modal to make your changes live.
Customize the Email Message
Manage the default message of the emails sent to counterparties from a public workflow or a workflow with Click-to-Accept.
- Navigate to ironcladapp.com and login with your CLM user credentials to access Ironclad CLM.
- Navigate to the workflow’s Sign step, and then click Settings.
- Beneath Signature Experience, click Acceptance Packet Configuration.
- Update the Message field.
- Save and Publish the workflow.
Customize the Email Header Information
Manage the header information of the emails sent to counterparties from a public workflow or a workflow with Click-to-Accept. Refer to the sections below for how to update the subject, from, and reply-to information.
Customize the Email Subject Line
- Navigate to ironcladapp.com and login with your CLM user credentials to access Ironclad CLM.
- Navigate to the Workflow’s Sign step, then click Settings.
- Beneath Signature Experience, click Acceptance Packet Configuration.
- Update the Packet title field.
- Save and Publish the workflow.
Customize the Email From Name
By default, the “from” information is the “Company External Display Name,” which is set in the Workflow Settings and defaults to your “Company Display Name”.
- Navigate to ironcladapp.com and login with your CLM user credentials to access Ironclad CLM.
- Navigate to the Workflow’s Sign step, then click Settings.
- Beneath Signature Experience, click Acceptance Packet Configuration.
- Update the Packet from name field.
- Save and Publish the workflow.
Customize Email Reply-to Name and Email
Note: Any changes applied to site settings will affect all emails related to public workflows and workflows with Click-to-Accept in your Ironclad account.
From the Classic Clickwrap Experience
- Navigate to app.pactsafe.com and login with your Clickwrap user credentials to access the Clickwrap Classic Experience.
- Click your user icon in the bottom left corner, then click Settings.
- Within the Site Settings, beneath Email Reply Information, update the Email Display Name and Email Address fields.
- Click Save Site at the bottom of the page.
From the New Clickwrap Experience
- Navigate to clickwrap.pactsafe.com and login with your Clickwrap user credentials to access the Clickwrap New Experience.
- Click your user icon in the top right corner, then click Settings.
- Click Site, then update the Email Reply From Name and Email Reply Address fields.
- Click Save at the bottom of the screen.
