Command Builder Enhancements

We’ve added Ironclad-Clickwrap to our standard Snapshots useragent. This means you have one more way to allow Ironclad to bypass security measures when generating Snapshots. This can be used in addition to, or instead of, Custom Headers.

New Supported File Types in Workflow Designer Form File Attachment Fields

Workflow Designer form file attachment fields now support the following file types:

• .asice

• .adoc

• .edoc

• .bdoc

• .ddoc.

This only applies to record attachments in the Repository and workflow form file attachment questions where the backing file field is not a part of the signature packet or draft. Any document that makes it into the signature packet must still be a .doc, .docx, or .pdf.

Support Rich Text Pasting in Ironclad Editor

Contract Families

You can now create parent and child relationships and flat related records. This enables you to build contract families that let you visualize all of your related contracts in a single place. This makes it easier to sort through MSAs, SOWs, Amendments, and Renewals.

Increased File Size Limit

We have increased the file size import limit in workflows, the Archive step, and in the Repository from 25MB → 100MB.

Clickwrap Snapshot Management Enhancements - Delete, Location Visibility in Classic

• You can now delete draft Snapshot locations. Once a location is published, it can be archived but not deleted. Previously, archive was the only option.

• You can now see if your customers are accepting Clickwrap Groups without a configured Snapshot location in the Classic Clickwrap experience.  Previously, this was only visible in the new experience.

Version Selector Label in Legal Centers

To increase the accessibility of our Legal Centers, we’ve added a label to the Version selector dropdown.
This version selector only appears if you have Publish Historical Versions turned on for your Legal Center.

If you are hiding this drop-down through CSS customization, the following selector will serve to target both the drop-down input and the newly added label:.select-version.

Configure eSignature CC Recipients in Workflow Designer

You can now configure eSignature CC recipients in Workflow Designer. Previously, you could only do this during the Sign step for in progress workflows.

Updated Clickwrap Table Pagination

We’ve updated the table pagination experience throughout the new Clickwrap experience to improve usability. There is no functionality change.

Resolved Issue with Rendering Tables

Previously, some tables rendered incorrectly in-app and in downloaded PDFs. If the table included a token, and the token’s value was a long value (such as a URL, which won’t contain any line breaks), the rendered value would not wrap in the table’s cell. Instead, the value would expand the cell, rendering some data off-page.

Long values now wrap within the defined cell width. This fix applies to Ironclad Editor in the Classic experience and downloaded PDFs.

Configurable acceptance language for CTA agreements

The Clickwrap API allows you to configure acceptance language on a per-request basis. This is now available in Workflow Designer using another rich text document for Click-To-Accept agreements.

You can now create lists in Ironclad Editor. You can select from the list styles already in the document or from a short list of standard styles.

Repository Advanced Search and In-app Guide

You can now run complex search queries on the Repository. This is accessible through a combination of Westlaw and LexisNexis search query syntax. The advanced search features include:

Edit Multi-Doc Workflow Signature Tags

In a previous release, Ironclad no longer required you to replace all of your signature tags in your multi-doc workflows if you did not edit your existing signature tags. If you edited any document through Ironclad Editor, or uploaded a new version of an existing document, you were not required to update the signature tags unless you edited or otherwise tampered with a signature tag.

With this release:

1. If you edit a signature tag, you can add additional signature tags as shown in screenshot below. You are not required to add an additional tag unless a signer does not have a signature tag.

2. If you upload a document during the Review step, you are no longer required to place a tag unless a signer does not have a signature tag. Previously, if you uploaded an additional document, you were required to tag the document regardless of the circumstance.

3. You can now see where all of your signature tags are in a document. Existing signature tags are gray as shown in the screenshot below. You can drag and drop new tags which display as white. This is helpful to verify all your tags are there.

4. If you cancel your signature packets after placing tags in the functionality described above, Ironclad remembers these tags so you won’t have to replace the tags if you click Prepare the Signature Packet again. This applies to company paper and third party paper. Previously, Ironclad wouldn't retain these and you would have to add them again.

Coupa OAuth Support

Coupa is sunsetting the use of API keys in their API. They will not be issuing new keys from September on. Existing keys will be disabled in January 2023.

We have added support for OAuth 2.0 when you authenticate your Coupa application in Ironclad.

* If you currently use the Ironclad Coupa integration, you must configure OAuth 2.0 by December 2022.

Coupa Unbacked EasyForm Setup Changes

With the move to OAuth 2.0 for Coupa, we have set up easy form schemas in Ironclad so that you can easily map them.

Email Error Subscriptions

Admins can configure themselves  or an Ironclad group to receive email notifications when errors of a certain type, such as Coupa or Salesforce, are triggered.

Dynamic Coupa Launches

If you are using the Requisitions Sync Coupa integration, all fields can remain in the launch form and Ironclad dynamically selects the best launch path:

• If all required fields are present, the contract automatically launches in Ironclad.

• If any data is missing or formatted incorrectly, the business user is automatically emailed and invited to fill in the remaining data in an IC launch form.

Directly Link to Embed Section in Clickwrap

In the new Clickwrap experience, you can share a specific section of an embed tab with a coworker. Hover over the left of the embed header and click the link icon. Copy the link and share it with your coworker. When they click the link, they are automatically taken to the embed section you linked to.

Snapshots Locations Table Improvements

The Snapshot locations table is now sorted alphanumerically by the Name column (previously sorted by the Location Key column) and reflects the selected location type (Desktop Browser, Mobile Browser, or Native App).

Imports Page Update Provides Real-Time Visibility into Repository

New Clickwrap Experience Activity Tab Minor Bug Fix

If you have access to the new Clickwrap experience, we updated the Activity tab to correct a small bug. When you shared a link to a specific activity or refreshed, the page would occasionally silently fail. We have fixed this small bug.

You can search for a signer by their ID, name, email address, company, or title. Use advanced filtering to filter by additional data points.

Invite External Users Without Contacting Support

Ironclad no longer requires customers to contact Support to add external users to their Ironclad account. We warn you that they you about to add an external user to their Ironclad account, but do not prevent you from doing so. We lifted this restriction now that you have the ability to remove users if you add a user by mistake.

If you primarily use SSO or Google Sign-in methods, but the new user invited doesn’t have access to their SSO/SAML, then Ironclad asks the user to sign in with their email address and one-time link to validate their user account.

Salesforce Record Sync Errors Bug Fix

Record sync errors automatically retry five times if there is a failure. Previously, Ironclad displayed all five attempts on the Record Sync Errors page. The page now only shows the error after the 5th failed attempt for a cleaner debugging experience.

Translated Acceptance Experience Now Includes Signer Verification

If you have access to the PactSafe Sign product, translated acceptance experiences, and signer verification/authorization, translation support now includes the messaging of the 6-digit code used to verify signer control over an email or SMS number (US only).

Ironclad Insights

Ironclad Insights is a contract analytics tool that enables you to visualize, understand, and analyze your contracts and contracting processes in real-time, without needing to export data or rely on data analysts. Insights helps you monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and predict demand by combining contracting process metrics with the metadata contained in your contracts.

Whether you use a prebuilt or a custom chart, you can drill down to view the chart’s underlying workflows in the Dashboard. You can also export the chart as an image, PDF, or CSV.

Remove Warning for Repository Permission by Record Type

Previously, when you went to edit the Repository Permissions for a group, we displayed a warning when you attempted to select Select additional permission by Record type, telling you this is not recommended. This warning has been removed.

Dashboard Advanced Search and In-app Guide

Admins Can Update a User’s Email Address

Admins can manage and update their non-SSO users’ email addresses in Ironclad without contacting CS. Company Administrators can update a team member’s email address by clicking : Company Setting > Users & Groups. Once you find the user you want to update, click the three stacked dots next to them, and then click Change email.

Relative-Dynamic Dates in Date Filters

On the Dashboard, relative dates let you quickly select common date ranges like Quarter to Date, Last 30 days, etc. The dynamic nature of these relative dates ensures that you don't have to select new dates every time you want to generate a report with those date parameters.

Clickwrap Specify Alt Text for Custom Logos on the Sign Page

In June, we released the functionality that enabled you to specify alt text for your custom logos in your Clickwrap legal centers. With this release, your alt text is also reflected in your custom logos on the Sign page if you have Sign and/or Streamline access.

Salesforce Version 2.30

Version 2.30 of the Salesforce Managed Package is now available on the AppExchange. Please update your integration at your earliest convenience. After you install the updated package, no additional action is required if you want to keep your integration the same.

All features are incremental updates to the existing managed package. They have full backwards compatibility with the existing integration and can typically be set up and used independently of other integration features unless otherwise explicitly stated.

Comment Only Mode for Ironclad Editor

Comment Only is now the lowest level access permission for Ironclad Editor, meaning that all users with this permission can view documents and leave internal comments.
Users with comment-only access to Ironclad Editor get a restricted set of options:

• Leave internal comments

• Reply to internal comments

• Remove internal comment threads.

This update is designed to enable collaboration while ensuring you can still control who can make counterparty-visible edits to your contracts.

Clickwrap Snapshot Management Enhancements

• Users can now see the Clickwrap groups a Snapshot location is collecting evidence for in the location’s Details tab. Clickwrap groups are automatically populated when a customer accepts an embedded agreement configured to include the Snapshot location in agreed event.

• You can click on the Last Capture in a Snapshot Location’s Details tab to open the Snapshot’s record directly. Previously, Snapshot records were only accessible by clicking on the Gallery tab.

• You can use the [Tab] key on your keyboard to access the Snapshot Locations table. The screenshot below details the order in which the [Tab] key navigates through the page.
