Increase User Account Security with One-Time (Magic) Links
Many Enterprise and public customers require additional user account protections for non-SSO team members or users that access Ironclad using their email & password. To keep all sensitive and confidential contract data and information secure in Ironclad, Admins can now require email/password users to validate their email access before they can sign-in.
By default, Connect only users can only access Ironclad using one-time (magic) links moving forward, reducing the risk for any non-authorized counterparty users to have access to a shared workflow.

Sequential Approvers
Previously, regardless of the approvals sequence configuration in Workflow Designer, any approver could approve at any time during the workflow's review step. The configured sequential aspect was only reflected in the timing of notifications that were sent out to each approver.
Now, the Approve button only appears for sequential approvers when it is their turn to approve. Notifications stay the same and remain sequential.
If you would like approvers to approve at any time or in no particular order, check out the parallel approvers functionality here to learn how to update your workflow configurations.
Note: This does NOT affect existing functionality through the API.

Improvements Locating Clickwrap Snapshots for Individual Signers
In the new Ironclad Clickwrap Experience, the associated Snapshot location is displayed on any Clickwrap group’s “agreed” activity if the Snapshot location was included in the agreed event.
In the Classic Clickwrap experience, download the specific Snapshot record for any “agreed” activity from the Activity Log if the Snapshot location was included in the agreed event. The record downloaded is the most recent Snapshot taken before the time of acceptance.

Custom Logo Alt Text
If you have access to Custom Brand settings, you can now specify what alt text you’d like to appear for your brand logo. It is best accessibility practice to set the textual substitute used by screen readers to announce the image. First, upload your custom brand image, then set the Logo Alt Text field and update. Your changes take effect in your legal centers the next time they are published.

Ironclad Clickwrap Snapshots Enhancements
Encrypted HTTP requests and responses are now required. Snapshot locations and “Load” Command Builder instructions must include “https://” destinations; “http://” is not supported.
Command builder has two new commands: “Wait for Selector” and “Set Cookies.”
-
Use “Wait for Selector” to wait for a specific element to load on screen. For example, wait for the Clickwrap checkbox to appear.
-
Use “Set Cookies” to set site preferences, load locally relevant content, and more. For example, if your embedded clickwrap is on a page gated by login, navigate to a page that prompts login, use “Set Cookies” to log in, and use the “Load” command to load the appropriate page.

Smart Import - Optional Verification
The verification step for Smart Import is now optional. As soon as your documents are uploaded they are fully text searchable and their AI-suggested property values can be used in filters and search.
AI-suggested record properties are displayed in the Repository next to regular properties and are fully searchable and filterable. Verifying a record automatically accepts all AI-suggested property values.

Ironclad Clickwrap Snapshot Enhancements
-
Save time capturing your first Snapshot! If Snapshot automation is enabled in your site, your first Snapshot is automatically captured when you publish a Snapshot Location. Subsequent Snapshots are captured following your defined capture frequency.
-
“Load” is now available in Command Builder. Load additional URLs as part of simulating your customers’ experiences. For example, if your Clickwrap agreements are presented behind a login page, first navigate to a URL that prompts login, log in, and then load the appropriate screen. Learn more.

Workflow Designer
Metadata Ordering
You are now able to order your fields in the Metadata Panel in Workflow Designer. This ordering will determine how your fields show up in your active workflows.
To configure this, click the ‘Reorder Metadata’ button under the ‘+’ menu.
You will be able to reorder your fields, add sections (which can be open or closed by default), and ‘Star’ important fields.

Integrations
Salesforce UI Bug Fixes
We’ve cleaned up some small sticky spots in the Salesforce integration UI:
-
Workflow preview is more zoomed out on large screens, making the text more legible
-
Font inconsistencies in launch form titles have now been made more consistent
-
Launch form question help text is now displayed correctly under the question; previously they appeared under the text input field:
