This topic will walk you through how to send various reminders.
There are several scenarios when you’re in a workflow that may require you to request information, approvals, or signatures from other parties. If you have a recipient that has taken an extended period of time to respond, you can send a reminder.
Remind a User to Provide Information
If you choose to have Ironclad collect information from a counterparty for you, an automatic email is sent to the email address you provided. If you fail to receive a response, you can send a reminder.
- In Ironclad, click the Dashboard tab, and then select a workflow.
- In the Collect Information section, locate the person you want to remind and in that same row, click Send Reminder indicated by a clock icon. Ironclad sends them an email reminding them to provide the requested information.
Remind a User to Review or Approve a Document
If you are waiting for legal or another party to review and approve your document, you can send them a reminder.
- In Ironclad, click the Dashboard tab, and then select a workflow.
- In the Review and Change section, locate the person you want to remind and in that same row, click Send Reminder indicated by a clock icon. Ironclad sends them an email reminding them to review the document.
Remind a User to Sign a Document
After a document has been sent for signatures, send a reminder to the designated signer(s) by clicking the clock icon next to their name. This will trigger a reminder email from your eSignature provider.
- In Ironclad, click the Dashboard tab, and then select a workflow.
- In the Signers section, locate the person you want to remind and in that same row, click Send Reminder indicated by a clock icon. Ironclad sends them an email reminding them to sign the document.
