This topic will walk you through how to manage views. This includes how to create, modify, share, and export custom views.
Views are a combination of saved filters and columns that allow you to easily access relevant workflows without having to manually search each time.
The Views panel is located on the left. You can open or close it by clicking the Hide sidebar icon located by All workflows. By default, this side panel is always open.
Preset Views
By default, the dashboard has preset views. These views have a default state that they can always be restored to. You can apply additional filters to these preset views and either save those filters as a new view or reset the view to its predefined state. Check out the table below for more information on each preset view:
Preset View | Description |
---|---|
Starred | Displays all of your workflows that are starred. |
In Progress (Active) | Displays all of your in progress workflows. Workflows that are in the Create, Review, Sign, and Archive steps can be found in this view. |
All Workflows | Displays all of the workflows that have ever been launched in your environment. This is the dashboard’s default view. |
Owned by Me |
Displays workflows where you are the Owner. |
Assigned to Me | Displays workflows assigned to your username and email. |
Participating In | Displays all of the workflows that you are a part of. All of the workflows in the Assigned to Me tab will also show in the Participating tab. Once you have approved a workflow, you no longer see it in the Assigned to Me tab, but it will remain in the Participating In tab. |
Paused | Displays all of your paused workflows.
NOTE
This view will only appear if any workflows meet this criteria. |
No Activity in 90 Days |

This view will only appear if any workflows meet this criteria. |
Completed | Displays all of your finalized workflows. |

Share a View
Required Permissions: None
You can share a copies of your custom views with other Ironclad users. When you share a link with other users, they see a pop-up that reflects the name of the view and allows them to modify it before saving the shared copy. Since you send a copy of view and not the actual view, any changes that you make to your view after you share a link are not reflected in the receiving user’s copy.
Note: Views are overruled by permissions. If your receiving user does not have access to the same workflows as you, they will not see them in the view. Also, if the receiver does not have access to the properties that were used as a filter or column in the view, the view link will not work for them.
- Locate the view you want to export and click the three stacked dots next to its name.
