This topic will walk you through how to search the Repository. This includes how to add a custom column, add/delete a filter, use the search bar, or filter a dynamic date range.

Add a Custom Column
You can add additional record property columns to your Repository.
- Click on the Repository tab, and then click the Columns button. A dropdown list of your current columns displays.
- Click Add property. A list of all of your record properties from your completed workflows display.
- Locate the record property you want to make a column by scrolling or searching for it. Toggle on the record property. The record property is added to your columns until you close or refresh the page.
Add/Delete a Filter
The Filters panel displays on the left of the Repository. You can add custom filters to search your records. When you add a filter, it is automatically added as a column as well.
- Click on the Repository tab, and then click the Filters button. A dropdown list of your current filters displays. A list of all of your record properties from your completed workflows display.
- Locate the record property you want to make a filter by scrolling or searching for it. Toggle on the record property. The record property is added to your filters until you reset them.
- To delete a filter, hover over the name of the filter and click the trash icon.
Filter for Any or No Record Property Values
You can use a filter in Repository to search for records that have any value for a given record property or that have no value for a given record property.
- Click on the Repository tab, and then click the Filters button. A dropdown list of your current filters displays. A list of all of your record properties from your completed workflows display.
- Locate the record property you want to make a filter by scrolling or searching for it. Toggle on the record property. The record property is added to your filters until you reset them.
- Enter a "*" in the record property field to filter for records that have any value for that record property.
- Enter a "-" in the record property field to filter for records that have no value for that record property.
Use the Search Bar
If you want to learn more about how to search the Repository, refer to Advanced Dashboard and Repository Search. You can search for exact phrases in the repository for languages that use the Latin alphabet. Smarter search features, like recognizing "coding" as similar to "code" (called stemming), only work in English.
- Click on the Repository tab, and then click into the search bar.
- To search for a record that contains a specific search term, enter it into the search bar.
- To search for a record that contains an exact match, use quotation marks around the search term. For example, if you want to find a record that includes an exact match for the name WonderWeb, enter “WonderWeb”.
- To search for a record that does NOT contain a specific term, enter a “-” followed by your search term. For example, if you want to find a record that does not include the name WonderWeb, enter -WonderWeb.
Filter a Dynamic Date Range
- Click on the Repository tab, and then click the Filters button. A dropdown list of your current filters displays. A list of all of your record properties from your completed workflows display.
- Toggle on Agreement Date. A filter is created for Agreement Date.
- Select whether you want to search for a day Before, After, On, or Between.
- There are two ways you can specify your date:
- Date Picker: Select the date you want to specify for your search.
- Advanced Search: Narrow down the number of days, weeks, months, or years before, or, or after today. Input the number, select the type of time frame, and select whether the search should be before, on, or after the given number.
- Click Apply.
